Still lots of Valentine inspired cards here. Part of that is because i've been sending many of these cards to my Secret Sister, the other is because the wonderful people at Stampin' Up! are sending $2 of every I {heart} Hearts stamp set sold to Haiti relief efforts. So take a look at how great this set is and buy one today :)Stamp Set: I {Heart} Hearts
Colours: Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon
This card was inspired by one that I saw surfing the web. I just loved the look of white craft ink on the kraft cardstock. I changed the design a bit from the one I saw, making it a little more "me"
I was seeing these quilted cards everywhere. I wanted to make one but was I too chicken, I really thought it would be too difficult. Turns out its so simple! Start with a piece of cardstock 5.5x4.25 next punch out 1.25 square inches out of patterned or plain cardstock and adhere to the cardstock base. Run through your bigshot with the top note die to get the shape and then run through again with an embossing folder. You can add little stitch marks if you'd like to make it really look like a quilt. You may have to click on the picture to get a close up look at the texture.
Stamp Set: I {Heart} Hearts (little pink heart says love and cut out in center)
Colours: Real Red, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Sending Love Designer Series Paper, Top Note Die, Heart embosslit and Little dots Embossing folder.
Another fast easy and super cute project. Top note die cut out in Real Red, another Top note cut in pattern paper and cut along the perforated marks. Two score marks 1/4 inch each way from the center so that it folds and there is enough space to secure a chapstick. I used large eyelets and ribbon to keep it closed.
